The Cap-IM Big Bang Date Claims are coming—it's time for you to decide on a posting date! The Date Claims Form will open on Saturday, October 24th at 14:00 EDT (what time is this for me?).
Remember that if no one on your team is available to claim a date, you can ask someone else to proxy-claim for you!

30 posting dates are available from November 1 to November 30. Only one team will be posting on any given day so that your Stevetony content is staggered for people to enjoy!
Before choosing the posting dates you will list, please make sure it will work for everyone on the team. You are required to have all works posted on the same date by midnight EST so that you can send the mods the masterpost information on time. This means that if a writer is working with two artists (was double claimed), they will all post their fanworks on the same day.
Posting date claims will be run via a Google Form on a first come, first-served basis.
Remember, only one person claims on behalf of their team.
Please find the Posting Date Claims Form here. It will open on Saturday October 24th, 14:00 EDT (what time is this for me?) and close on Monday October 26th, 14:00 EDT.
On October 26th, teams will receive an email with their finalised posting date and additional information regarding their deadline.
Remember that if no one on your team is available to claim a date, you can ask someone else to proxy-claim for you!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- By claiming a posting date, you are committing to having your work complete and ready for posting by the date you have picked; this counts as your check in for the BB. If your team does not claim a date by October 26th 14:00 EDT, the mods will assign your team a posting date.
- If you have any special requests, such as pre-arranging a set posting date due to personal circumstances, please email cap.im.events@gmail.com as soon as possible so we can try to accommodate you (please note that we cannot guarantee anything, and will consider requests on a first-come, first-serve basis).
- If no team member is able to be present when posting date claims open, please consider using a proxy to submit a claim on your behalf. Proxies simply need to enter your team CODENAME when they claim for you. If you are unable to find a proxy, please email the mods at cap.im.events@gmail.com and we will try to organise a proxy for you.
- If you believe you won't be able to finish your work by your posting date, please communicate your concerns with your partner(s) and the mods as soon as possible. You can find all extension information in our Posting Instructions post.
- We strongly encourage all participants to meet their posting deadline, and only ask for an extension as a final resort. If you believe you won't be able to finish your work by next month, please communicate your concerns with your partner(s) and the mods as soon as possible.
- Incomplete works, failure to meet the deadline, or a complete lack of communication on and after your posting date will result in a temporary ban from some
cap_ironman events.
- Bans are done individually and not as a team; participants who have completed their event work will not be held responsible for the actions of their partner(s).
- For further details on bans, read through the Defaulting and Participation Eligibility policies.
HOW TO CLAIM YOUR DATE
30 posting dates are available from November 1 to November 30. Only one team will be posting on any given day so that your Stevetony content is staggered for people to enjoy!
Before choosing the posting dates you will list, please make sure it will work for everyone on the team. Posting date claims will be run via a Google Form on a first come, first-served basis.
- The Date Claims Form is linked here, as is the live claims spreadsheet that will show the claims happening real-time. The form will open when date claims start, but you can access the link beforehand.
- The person claiming on behalf of a team needs to know their CODENAME and 3-5 posting dates to list in order of preference.
- Your posting team is determined by the writer's CODENAME as given to you in the BB matching email.
- Posting dates will be allocated in the order that forms are received.
- Teams that submit forms where all dates listed have already been picked will be asked to resubmit.
- If your team has special requirements to due participant schedules, you must contact the event mods via email at cap.im.events@gmail.com before October 24th.
Remember, only one person claims on behalf of their team.
