Reverse Bang 2014 artist sign-ups and general guidelines

February 17th: art drafts due/art sign ups close
February 22nd: art claims
March-April: arting and wording
Posting starts May 1st and will continue all month!

This year, there will be no regular artist sign up period for the reverse bang.  Any artist who submits a draft prior to Feb 17th will be "signed up" for the fest.

To submit a draft, ATTACH it in an email to cap.ironman.fic.exchange@gmail.com.  Use the subject "RBB 2014" and include your USERNAME and the UNIVERSE for your draft (616, MCU, ults, etc).  Remember this is only the draft stage; you will have all of March and April to complete your art.

• Submitted art must be created new for the fest.


• You may not publicly post reverse bang art on any site before the fest reveal in May.


• Please do not sign your name on your draft.


• Art must focus on Steve and Tony, can be shippy or gen.


• Art should tell a story that your author can expand in fic. (It’s difficult to write fic for simple portraits, for example.)


• Digital and traditional media are fine (manips are not accepted).


• You must put in the effort to maintain communications and collaborate with your assigned author.


• You may submit multiple works, but keep in mind that you will be assigned multiple authors and you will be expected to maintain communications and collaborate with each of them.

We will be confirming receipt of drafts, but it may take us a day or two to respond, so please be patient. :)


Authors intending to participate, please note:

• You will be writing a companion fic to accompany your assigned artist's art.


• Reverse bang fics must be 6k words minimum.


• You may not publicly post reverse bang fics on any site before the fest reveal in May.


• You must put in the effort to maintain communications and collaborate with your assigned artist.
